The original screening date planned for the night of 23rd June has now been cancelled due to it’s clash with another popular event you’re probably already aware of, namely the EU referendum.
It appears that for some, attending our screening at Coed y Brenin and making it to their allocated polling station could be a little tricky. So, rather than have mountain biking labelled as a politically disruptive force we have taken the decision to change the screening date in order to allow you all to exercise your political voice without the distraction of some blazing MTB stoke to get in the way.
We hate having to make you wait a little longer but we want to do our bit to encourage political inclusion, hopefully promoting a little more world harmony in the process.
Any tickets already purchased will automatically be valid for the new screening date or a full refund is available if the new date is not suitable. Please contact the shop if you have any questions.
The pre-screening Beicwyr Brenin club ride will still go ahead as planned on the new date.
On Thursday June 30th 2016, Beics Brenin will be hosting the UK Premiere of the new Anthill Films movie Not 2 Bad.
Not 2 Bad is a sequel to the 2013 movie NotBad which saw 7 of worlds best riders travel to New Zealand to sample some spectacular riding and other adventures both on and off bike.
Not 2 Bad follows on, with more of the world’s finest, this time heading to Spain to enjoy some of the country’s sunshine and fine trails along with other bike and non bike related radness. Featuring Brandon Semenuk, Brett Rheeder, Cam McCaul, Ryan Howard, Casey Brown & Andrew Shandro with Rachel, Gee & Dan Atherton, the film promises to showcase these riders unique talent.
As an added bonus, the screening will be running as a double bill with the original Not Bad movie so you can enjoy a double dose of MTB stoke, that’s really Not 2 Bad.
If you want to get revved up for the show, why not come along and join Beicwyr Brenin Club for a short social MTB ride on red and black grade trails, departing from outside the shop at 6pm prompt, all are welcome. You’ll need a bike in good working order, a helmet and gear appropriate to the conditions.
The feature presentations will be shown in the conference rooms above the bike shop, the features will start at 7.30pm with a screening of the original Not Bad movie, followed by the Not 2 Bad screening.
A selection of drinks and snacks will be available from the entrance lobby.
