With Wales moving to Covid alert level 0 we have again reviewed our existing arrangements for Covid safety at Beics Brenin.
Although the new changes have brought some very welcome new freedoms our priorities remain the same, namely to ensure the safety of our customers and staff and to reduce wherever possible the transmission of the virus. For this reason, after reviewing our current operating arrangements with regards to Covid 19 we have decided that we will continue to maintain all our Covid Safe operating arrangements without any change until next review.
Hire bike helmet requirement – We will still require hire customers to provide their own helmets (or purchase one from us) when they hire from us as we are not yet in a position where we can safely return to providing loan helmets.
We are continuing to ask our hire customers to provide their own helmets for use with hire bikes.
For those who do not currently own their own helmet, we carry a good range of sizes and styles in stock for those who need to buy.
Face coverings – In Wales customers visiting retail shops are still required by law to wear an appropriate face covering so you will still need to wear one if you visit us. Signs reminding our customers of this will remain in place. If you are visiting from England where face coverings are no longer required please do not be offended if our staff request you wear one, our staff have a duty to ensure this legal requirement is upheld by our visitors.
Mask exemptions – To help us ensure the safety of our customers and team we are happy to serve those with mask exemptions outside the store entrance. Please let us know in advance of your visit or call over a member of our team who will be happy to assist when you visit.
Visiting the shop – While social distancing is still advised we will continue to restrict numbers entering the store at busy times to ensure customer and staff safety. We thank our customers for being patient with any requests to wait before entering the store. We continue to allow our customers to try on garments but again request that contact is kept to a minimum to reduce the risks of transmission.
Our Covid Safety routines for hire collection and return will remain unchanged. These are outlined in the video below:
We thank our customers for their continued support and patience with the necessary measures we have in place to ensure staff and public safety.
