Looking for the next step to boost your child’s MTB skill level?

Tried the Nippers n’Rippers Kids Enduro and are looking for the next step……

Pedal MTB are running the first in a series of kids coaching workshops that will focus on the basics of trail riding to help your kids advance their riding skills while building confidence and control. Through a series of fun and interesting coaching games and bike challenges, Pedal MTB’s experienced coaches will give your young rider a solid base from which they can build their mountain bike skills. The course is relaxed and fun and will be provided them with easy to remember, practical training routines that are great for them to take home and practice.

The sessions will run on Sunday 30th September with limited spaces available on each.

Session 1. 0900 – 12.00

Session 2   1300 – 1600

Both  workshops are aimed at developing key skills to help kids obtain the fundamental of good mountain biking – Areas covered will include ready position, cornering, braking, moving around on the bike, pumping and line choice. The sessions will be based around the Coed Y Brenin skills area and the easier trails close to the Centre. Kids wanting to book on to a session must be able to ride at a level that would allow them to ride a blue graded trail comfortably. We would suggest that the upper level of ability be kids who can ride red graded trails, we will be putting on more sessions in the future for more advanced level riders (black graded trails and jumping). The sessions will be focused on cultivating fundamental skills in a fun and safe environment.

These sessions are delivered as part of the Trek Coed y Brenin Enduro weekend and tickets are available to book through the Coed y Brenin Enduro Eventbrite page (scroll down through the available tickets and you’ll find them near the bottom).
