VISITING US – We are open 9.00 – 5pm/7 days a week. Do you have your own cycle helmet that is a good fit and suitable for riding off road? If so, we would strongly advise that you bring it with you to use. Beics Brenin can provide a loan helmet with any bike hired if the rider is without a suitable helmet of their own. However, as with shoes, a helmet’s fit and comfort is a very personal thing. Our loan helmets, while being perfectly functional in terms of safety, fit and suitability, are chosen to fit a wider range of users and so are unlikely to offer the same level of personal comfort than one selected to individual need and preference may do.
If you don’t already own a quality helmet or could use an upgrade, our shop offers a range of good quality options that you may wish to consider at a discounted rate for hire bike customers..
Please visit the Natural Resources Wales website for information on the service status of the visitor centre, trails and other amenities at Coed y Brenin.
BOOK YOUR HIRE
We run a large hire fleet at Coed y Brenin but on busy days or when we have a large number of hire bookings we can often run out of availability on any given types or size of bike. If you are thinking of visiting the park and would like to hire bikes it is always advisable to pre-book to avoid disappointment. We use height as a guide for bike sizing so please ensure you have accurate heights for all those who are hiring before you attempt to book. Full payment is required at time of booking.
Welcome to Beics Brenin, a full service bike shop & rental centre, located within the iconic Coed Y Brenin forest in North Wales.
