Christmas is coming and if you need to buy for a bike enthusiast there can be a bewildering selection of options to choose from. With so many styles of riding its good to start off by finding out what type of cycling the person is into, could be road, mountain or adventure, leisure, fitness or their daily commute that gets them excited so find out as much as you can and try to fit the gift to the rider. 

There are also some items that are useful for all riders so if other investigation fails, you can always go for one of these. And don't write off socks, they may be seen as the ultimate in unimaginative festive gifts but we've yet to meet a cyclist who didn't appreciate the benefits of a fine set of cycling socks, particularly during the winter when those toes can get a little cold.
