Traws Eryri, an epic 200km adventure

The Traws Eryri is an epic 200km adventure cycle route that crosses some of North Wales most spectacular country, a monster adventure route that requires determination and a strong set of pedalling legs. The route has been created through a partnership between Natural Resources Wales and Cycling UK. This 200km adventure ride takes in some of the most spectacular scenery in North Wales running from Machynlleth to Conwy Castle. You'll need determination and a stout set of peddling legs as the ride takes in over 4000m of climbing.

The route comprises quiet back roads, dense forest and mountain tracks with spectacular scenery and can easily be split to undertake over a number of days.

The route heads right past our door at Coed y Brenin making it a great place to plan a stop for a rest break. You can relax in the cafe and enjoy spectacular balcony views of Cader Idris while replenishing yourself with coffee, a snack or even a full meal.
