Levo SL 2

Levo SL 2

The lowdown..

  • New whisper-quiet Turbo SL 1.2 motor system, hopped-up with 43% more torque and 33% more power than its predecessor.
  • Trail Optimised Chassis - Every detail of frame geometry reconsidered to deliver a bike that handles like its an extension of your own body, perfect balance and tuned to maximise every pedal stroke or body movement.
  • Super adaptable - Levo SL 2 takes the Sumpy Evo's 'trail bike of the year' award winning blueprint adjustable geometry. Low bottom bracket, slack headtube angle, and reduced fork offset keep the bike super stable in rough terrain while giving freedom and control to move the bike where you need it.

How much travel? - 150mm rear and 160mm Front

2 Flip chips, one in chainstay and one in the rocker eyelet - The one on the chainstay allows for a 29" rear wheel, the one on the shock allows for adjustment of bottom bracket height and head angle.

Do you have to run the mullet 29/27.5 setup? - No, the flip chip in the chainstay allows a 29" wheel to be fitted in the rear.

What is the Watt Hour capacity of the battery? - Internal = 320Wh, range extender battery adds 160Wh. (Total 480Wh available)

How much power does the Levo SL 2 have? - The SL 1.2 motor offers 320 watts, 50 Nm of peak torque. That's 33% more than the original Levo SL.

Is the motor noise reduced? - Yes, the gearbox design has been updated and a new honeycombe structure motor housing integrated to dissipate noise. It's a reduction of around 35-45% over the SL 1.1 motor.

What is the range of the Levo SL 2? - Tough to say as range is influenced by so many factors including riding style, rider weight and terrain. Why not discover for yourself by booking a hire on the Levo SL at Coed y Brenin (BOOK HERE)

Levo SL2 has landed

It wouldn't be an understatement to say that everyone at Summit Cycles (and Beics Brenin) was very excited about the arrival of this bike. The levo SL was a firm favourite of the team, bridging the gap between regular MTBs and power assisted bikes here was a bike that had power enough to destroy climbs and give you access to more trails per ride while still riding like your regular MTB. If the Levo SL 2 delivers on its promises (and Specialized haven't let us down yet) then this the Levo SL 2 is likely to be a big hit around here.

It was no surprise that our mechanics went straight to building the bikes as soon as they arrived with our Summit bike first together and ready for the camera.
